Earth Day At Be Fresh

First celebrated in 1970, April 22nd, or Earth Day, is now acknowledged in more than 193 countries – all demonstrating support for environmental protection. Here at Be Fresh, we care about the earth and what goes in it. So, what are we doing for Earth Day?

Free Drip Coffee (IF you bring a reusable mug)

More reusable mugs = fewer single-use cups in our local landfills. We’re planning on abolishing single-use cups entirely, but until then, on April 22nd enjoy free Be Fresh drip coffee if you bring a reusable mug. Grab your S’Wells, your Keep Cups, and any favourite reusable mug you have lying around – the more reusable mugs (and free coffee), the better.

Seed Planting

From farm to table. Or, in this case, garden. From 3-5pm we will be handing out organic leafy green seeds from West Coast Seeds at Organic Acres, Bayswater, and Cypress! Only while quantities last. Get ’em while they’re fresh!

What are you doing for Earth Day? If you have any ideas, we’d love to hear them!

Outside of her role as a Social Media and Content Coordinator, Carli enjoys exploring the local BC trails, spending time with loved ones, and fawning over any dog she lays eyes on.
